Julia Kelleher is a PPA Master Photographer, Artist, Craftsman, and certified with the organization. She holds the prestigious Diamond Photographer of the Year title - earning it twice in PPA print competition. She is also a Master of WPPI and holds numerous top national and international awards for her newborn and children's work. She is a Nikon® Ambassador and is the only newborn photographer in the world sponsored by Nikon®.
She operates a multiple-6-figure, retail studio in Bend, OR, specializing in newborn, maternity, baby, family and brand management commercial photography. She began her career out of her home studio in Portland, OR and quickly rose to a thriving retail business with 3 employees and a steady stream of new and repeat clientele.
Published in numerous magazines and online publications - like Professional Photographer, Rangefinder, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post along with major television news outlets like ABC and NBC news - she began teaching in 2009, and now speaks at events and conference worldwide, helping inspire other creative women to pursue their photographic dreams. She has been honored to speak at WPPI, Imaging USA, The Belly Baby Conference, Creative Live, PhotoPlus, and numerous PPA Affiliate Events. She also serves as a print judge for major international competitions.
Julia is master marketer and business guru, lending her strengths in business and creativity to other studio owners. She offers online classes, private mentoring and national workshops. She is married to Rob, the love of her life and has a 8-year old son, Dean. She is a passionate designer, decorator and figure skater!

Online mentoring allows you to stay home to learn! It includes bi-weekly live, interactive discussion with me (Julia) through online meeting software. It’s essentially a full workshop experience from anywhere! This course is only offered one to two times per year and only to a very select number of students. I meet with students in groups of 2 over 3 months. I'll helps you with your business issues, troubleshoots your areas of concern and walk you through solutions step-by-step.

Private, in-person mentoring is one-on-two coaching with me at my Bend, OR studio over a period of two days. It offers the maximum capacity to learn, as it is truly a “hands-on” experience. You will paired with one other student to learn shooting, handling babies, posing, post-processing and organizing your workflow–all with me at your side, helping you each step of the way. I also offering in-person mentoring to learn children's creative work.

In-person mentoring is only offered to those who have filled out an application. It is offered on a first-come first serve basis, and via a formal application process. The application allows me to see where you are in your business and assess whether or not you are in a place where I can effectively help you. At this time, I'm not accepting invitations to travel to outside studios, however if I happen to be in your city for a conference or major speaking event, arrangements can be made to offer private in-person caching at your business while I'm in your area. Please inquire!

We offer limited tech support for classes and template products. Unfortunately, our staff is not large enough to handle full 24/7 support. For example we will help you troubleshoot logging into your account, etc. If you are having download issues, we will do our best to help, however sometimes it is a problem on the customer end. We do not offer support for Photoshop or how-tos for customizing our products. All templates come with customization instructions and/or brief demo videos for certain techniques.
