Your family is amazing. That's what we think at least, and we want to honor that with you. Professional, studio portraiture celebrates you and the legacy that you are making. Images of you in your home will bring to life the love you share and the adventures you have together. And when you walk by it everyday, you'll get an overwhelming feeling of joy, love, giggles and nostalgic purpose flowing through your veins. And our goal is to make those images be more and more valuable to you every year that passes.
And when professional imagery is printed and designed to coordinate with your home and its decor, all of sudden YOU are your art. An investment so worth it, you'll wonder how you could have ever lived without it. Especially when your little ones grow (mine is now 9! See images, sidebar.), change and discover before your eyes. Remembering those looks, grins, smirks, and
oh-so-them growth stages will seem like you want to keep a vise-like grip on the past. They grow too dang fast!
My own family started here in Bend, OR where we love everything outside. Camping, boating, the Oregon coast - it's all majestic here! Rob and I fell in love when he walked up to my front doorstep (more on that later). 16 years later, we are still madly in love and grateful for all we've been given.

Our Love Story...
I like to say that Rob romantically waltzed up to my doorstep and whisked me off my feet. The reality? Oh, he walked onto my doorstep alright, carrying a couch. How romantic! He was helping my girlfriend at the time, move into my basement. Hey, he still swept me off my feet!
We've been together 14 years, married for 10. We eloped to Mexico and it was dreamy. We got married on the premise that we would NOT have kids. Well, I blew that one didn't I? One day, I popped the question.
"Can we start a family?" I asked. I have a gem of a man. You know what he said?
"Sure! How many?"
And 3 weeks later we were pregnant with just one baby boy. And he's everything we need, and all that we love.

OUR HOUSE BUILD
It all began with the dream of allowing our son Dean to grow up in the dirt - on a farm. For four years we searched for that perfect piece of property, finally Thanksgiving 2017 we found it. We bought it the Friday following the holiday and the work began to design our dream home.
Most people know I LOVE interior design, and if Joanna Gaines and Restoration Hardware had a baby, that would be my ultimate happy place. So here we are, framing our home with a completion date set for fall 2019.
I'm so fortunate to have a husband who is a builder. He is so talented and is giving me everything (well almost everything $$!!) I dream of. This home will be where I someday kick the bucket - a place of respite, dreams, peace and love. It will be filled with grandkids, goats and a greenhouse full of goodies.
And we can't wait!

THE JI TEAM
We are a fun-loving, somewhat crazy bunch of women who LOVE working with children, families, mothers and each other. We are a mighty team of four here at the studio and we love what we do! Moms ourselves, we get what it's like trying to juggle the world with two hands while tiny hands are grabbing at your shirt, with a little voice that says "mommy! mommy!" That's why a portrait session with us is full-service, easy and actually relaxing. Let us do all the work, and let the creativity fly. We thrive on it!
